Our Tweet: A 140 million year old pine tree fossil was found in a gypsum quarry in N.S.
This is an image of the oldest pine tree fossil in the world that was found in Nova Scotia. This is how the pine fossil looks under a scanning electron microscope with false colour. The piece of pine is only seven millimetres long.
