I have found a list of Canadian groups that are attempting to help the environment. Each one could be a good starting point to help with the global goal locally.

• Canadian Wildlife Federation.
• Conservation Ontario.
• Conservation Council of Ontario | WeConserve.ca.
• Ducks Unlimited Canada.

• However on a global scale I am leaning towards the WWF charity. They are a reputable group with lots of opportunities not only to donate  but to volunteer as well. I don't plan to hold any kind of fundraiser because all the other groups are doing one. My plan simply involves raising awareness and letting people know about what they can do even in the smallest way to help the environment. And on that note please look at the links below
